The Hyatt Regency Boston is a large modern, full service North American business style hotel with all the usual amenities. The hotel is located in Boston’s Theatre District which has all the coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, drug stores and other amenities you’re likely to need during your stay. Many of the American Revolutionary historical sights are located within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is also just a couple of blocks away from the metro stations which gives you easy public transportation to other Boston area sights like Fenway Park, Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard University, etc. Overall we had a stay and would stay again. The front desk and staff were friendly, competent and courteous. Check-in and check-out was painless and fast. Our junior suite was clean with 2 flat-screen TV’s, good Wi-Fi and comfortable bed with nice bedding. The room had a small fridge and coffee/tea maker but no microwave.

Not the first time I stayed at this hotel. On my leaving day the temperature in Boston dropped to -18 c I asked shyly for a late check out and was given until 6 o ‘click in the evening since I had a very late overseas flight. It was amazing how the front desk responded to my request knowing that really I could only sit in the lobby with very strong wind and such low temperature. Instead of that I was comfortable in my warm room. I really appreciate that and thank them once again. Bed clothes in this hotel is the thing that always fascinated me. Immaculately clean and fresh. Only disadvantage pool is no longer in operation which is a pity. One of the best places to stay in Boston.

The location is very nice and located near the subway (which wasn't working at the time). You can walk to a lot of places of interest in 20 minutes. For Fenway and MFA you need an Uber. The Opera House is right outside the front entrance and we were lucky enough to catch Anastasia. We only ate at the restaurant for breakfast, but it had a nice buffet and the waiters were knowledgable about gluten intolerance and very friendly and attentive.

We stayed at the Regency for my partner's birthday and upon hearing that the staff checking us in gave us a free breakfast for 2 at the restaurant. We also upgraded to a Kind room for a very reasonable price and was given a great view on the top floor which really made the experience. Everyone was so nice, and the decor, being close to the holidays was delightful. We loved the location to South Station and the Commons.

Taylor

We loved the location - it worked so well for catching the bus to the marathon and walking back after. It is a central location, so easy to access the subway, sites on the freedom trail, great restaurants, etc. We stayed here the last time we came for the marathon and were happy to stay here again.
